I like to read. In fact, at any given time I’m usually reading at least one book. Some resonate with me more than others. The ones that stand out for me go on this reading list:
Hope Runs: An American Tourist, a Kenyan Boy, a Journey of Redemption
“Hope Runs” is, for me, a story of humanity; of how people can connect to each other in the most unlikely of places and become saviours for each other. This book makes me want to go to Kenya and to the USA, to work with orphaned children and experience the raw beauty and heartache of Africa, which is already my home, but which I barely know at all.
